From the tee it looks a drive straight at the flag. However, the best line is right of the fairway bunker which gives a better line onto the green. Your second shot must be airborne, due to the road and the diagonal ridges just short of the green. Avoid the difficult greenside bunkers. The green borrows right to left, not easy to read as I think the borrow is less than it seems. Hole 9/18 is usually playing into the wind. My favourite hole! Mostyn Pugh, Member (Handicap index 26.7)
